Coding agent workflow
Website feedback for Claude, Cursor and Codex
Choose the client requests you want worked on and send them to your coding tool. With a connected review, progress and screenshots return to DesignLoop for you to check.
DesignLoop lets you hand client website feedback to Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. Each request includes the comment and original screenshot, so you can start from what the client reviewed.
You still choose which requests to work on and approve the result. Your coding tool needs access to the website project to make the changes.
From a client comment to a checked change
Suppose a client asks to replace the opening paragraph on a services page. They select the passage and suggest the wording they want.
The owner reviews the request, then sends it to their coding tool. With a connected review, the work appears on DesignLoop’s Implementation board. The owner can follow progress and inspect the submitted result, including screenshots when provided.
Before approving, the owner opens the revised page and checks the wording against the client’s suggestion. If it wraps poorly on a phone, they can request another pass on that item. The client request remains open until the owner marks it complete.
Three handoff options
| Option | When to use it | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Copy for AI | You want to send one request to a coding tool | Paste the copied request into your task. Copy it again if the feedback changes. |
| Copy AI link | You want to share the current feedback round | Your tool can read the current feedback when it opens the link. It needs to support reading links. |
| Connect the review | You want to follow implementation inside DesignLoop | Use the MCP connection to receive private progress and submitted work for review. |
MCP is the connection between DesignLoop and a compatible coding tool. The connection guide explains setup and the access you grant.
Make the request clear before sending it
Keep replacement wording and reference images with the original comment. If the change applies only on mobile, say so. For feedback such as “make this more prominent,” agree on the intended result before starting work.
You can select one request or a group of related requests. Tell your coding tool which items to work on and whether you want a preview or a published change. A request to review feedback does not itself ask for edits.
Review the work in DesignLoop
Connected work moves through the Implementation board, from the queue to work that is ready for review. Open an item to see its original comment, progress, and submitted screenshots. Those implementation updates are private to the owner.
Check the actual page before choosing Approve and mark implemented. Approval changes the status clients see. Use the website change checklist for wording, layout, and interaction checks.
The permissions guide explains which information a connection can access and how to disconnect it.
